EXPERIENCE
Early Childhood Science Specialist, Forsyth School – Designed and implemented activities and assessments for Pre-K through second grade, to develop knowledge and experience of the earth, it’s systems of life, and processes that include broad-based ecological concepts. (9 years)
Restoration Biologist/Educator, DJM Ecological Services – Assist in the design and installation of native plant communities including prairie, savanna, and wetland. Work with AmeriCorp Trail Rangers along the Mississippi River and volunteers in Forest Park during the park’s ecosystem reconstruction phase. (8 years)
Land Stewardship Coordinator, Pfizer/Monsanto – Recruit and coordinate employee volunteers for habitat improvement on both the Chesterfield and Creve Coeur campuses. Maintain site certifications with the Wildlife Habitat Council, through documentation, which included new certification for Corporate Lands for Learning, and the Chesterfield site as finalist for “Habitat of the Year” award. (5 years)
Field Educator, Missouri Botanical Garden Shaw Nature Reserve – As part of a 4 person team, designed and implemented environmental education field programs for a variety of ages and circumstances from 1.5 hour Earthwalks to the 3-day residential Earthkeepers Program (published by the Institute for Earth Education) – (10 years)
Ohio State Game Protector, Ohio Division of Wildlife – Wildlife Code law enforcement, conduct fish and wildlife surveys, public relations including 14 sportsman clubs in Mahoning County. (5 years)
